Our Workshop Programming

 

Every business - for profit or nonprofit, start-up or existing - needs a Business Plan and Financial Plan. Why? If you don't know, how can you grow? Do you know how much money you need to launch your start-up? Do you know how much money you need to grow your current company and keep it alive? Do you have a safety cushion to live on until your business starts making money?  How much money you need to generate for your operations, your pay, your employees, your marketing, your new laptop and tablet? You get the picture. Your customers and clients need to know who you are, what your product and service is, and how to find you. All of that takes money.

Your Start-Up and Operational budgets are components of your Business and Financial planning. Within the Operational Budget, are your other small budgets such as your Admin Budget, Marketing and Advertising budgets. If for a not-for-profit organization, you will have these budgets, but also Event, Fundraising, Development, Project and Program budgets.

 

You will develop the budgets you need for your particular entity. Your budgets will depend on the size of your company and what you want to accomplish. Once you we do a walk-through of the process, you will be able to develop a budget with no problem.
